Joining Cub Scouts is an easy process and can be completed online!

Steps to Joining (2025-2026 Fees):
Go to my.scouting.org and follow the prompts to register a Youth.
Pay the $96.85 in fees to Scouting America which comprise of registration fees and insurance. The Scout Life magazine subscription ($15.00) is optional.
Register with Pack 006 by completing this form
Purchase your uniform online or at the Valley Forge Scout Shop (901 E 8th Ave #103, King of Prussia, PA 19406). Uniform shopping list is here
Bring a check for $125 payable to Pack 6 to your next den meeting. Pack dues cover most of the expenses tied to activities that are done within the Den and Pack.
Our Pack is open to both boys and girls. No prior Scouting or outdoor experience is required to join. Just bring your sense of adventure and curiosity to learn and we will introduce your child to the magic of Scouting.
Please note, there is a financial consideration to joining Scouts. Just like an other extra curricular activity, the dues go towards the activity costs, insurance, charter fees, etc. Every Adult in the Pack Leadership are volunteers.
